COMMUNICATION AND PRIVACY POLICY

We are sensitive to the protection of the privacy of our users and the lawful processing of their data.

Allomed is a brand belonging to the company MEDIPOLE SA domiciled at Chemin des terrasses 12, 1820 Montreux. This communication and privacy policy is valid for both the Allomed brand and the Medipole company.

If you provide us with data, you are deemed to consent to such data transfers and by using our services, you expressly acknowledge that we may process your Personal Data in accordance with this Communication and Privacy Policy.

Medipole acts as data controller of the personal data collected on the application, during the creation and management of the personal or professional user account, the making of appointments online, the use of the application in general and billing.

This communication and confidentiality policy does not apply to physicians and assisted telemedicine centers that act under the medical and professional secrecy that governs their profession. Medipole cannot be held responsible for the way in which doctors and assisted telemedicine centers process your personal data.

Exchanges are subject to the following rules:

  • Messages exchanged with patients are protected by medical and professional secrecy.

  • By communicating by email or via our website, you agree to transmit the data to doctors registered on our application. They will be read and processed by the latter who, if necessary, will transmit them to their collaborators.

  • We set ourselves the goal of answering you as soon as possible. However, we do not guarantee any delay; Do not use email and our forms for urgent messages. In case of emergency, you must call your doctor, an emergency service or 144. E-mail and forms are reserved for simple exchanges of information, not for medical questions.

  • The patient is aware that anyone who has access to his e-mail will be able to read the messages that will be sent to him.

  • The email is not encrypted and can be intercepted by malicious people.

Collection of your data

Your personal data is collected by you or for a relative, provided you have the right to provide us with their information (legal representative of a minor) when you register on our application.

If you do not wish to provide us with the requested information, if you do not agree with our communication and privacy policy and/or our terms and conditions you should not use our application.

Automatic collection of your data

When you access and browse allomed, we may collect and use certain information about your device and your use of this digital application. The information collected may include your IP address, your device's unique identifier, location data, information about cookies that we may have stored on your device, and information about pages visited, search terms entered, or links clicked within Allomed.

Respect for medical confidentiality

We make every effort to ensure the security and protection of the confidentiality of your data. All doctors and assisted telemedicine centers working with Allomed as well as all our employees are bound by a legal obligation to maintain professional secrecy. Your medical data is only used as part of your treatment.

When you transmit information to us via our application, it is considered sensitive data, in particular when you transmit to us, among other things, information concerning your health or your private life. We protect this data, which you transmit to us in a particular way, to comply with medical confidentiality and the Federal Data Protection Act. In this sense, we collaborate with the company HIN (www.hin.ch) which guarantees us electronically.

Sharing your personal data

We share your personal data with doctors working on our app.

Doctors are solely responsible for the processing of your personal data in the context of a processing or consultation, to determine who within their organization has access to your personal data.

We use subcontracted service providers, such as communications and IT/software service providers who process your personal data as part of the services they provide to us. All service providers are subject to confidentiality obligations and are bound by data processing agreements.

In the event of a legal obligation (request from a judicial authority, obligation imposed by law), we will have to communicate your personal data. We may also use it in connection with a legal action or defense or in connection with restructuring or transfer of assets.

If you use our application, we share with the doctors working with our application your personal data to allow them to manage your patient file.

Where is your data stored?

We host your data exclusively in Switzerland.

How long is my data kept?

We keep your data relating to medical services for 20 years, legal obligation.

Your rights

You have the right, within the limits of compliance with the law:

  • Correct your personal data at any time through your user access to the application.

  • Withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data by simply terminating your user account.

  • Obtain your personal data by email.

The foregoing does not limit any other rights you may have under applicable data protection legislation in certain circumstances.

How do we protect your personal data?

We take technical and organizational security measures to ensure the security of the processing and confidentiality of personal data and to prevent unauthorized access and unauthorized transmission, modification, or destruction of such data.

Although we do everything, we can to protect your personal data, no digital service is completely secure. Translation

This communication policy is written and translated into several languages. Only the French version prevails.

Final provisions

This communication policy, including any modification or addition, constitutes the entire agreement between Medipole and the patient. In case of nullity of one of the clauses, the rest of the contract remains in force.

Applicable law and place of authority

Swiss law is exclusively applicable to this communication policy is drafted and to any dispute relating to this contract. In case of dispute, the place of authority is Montreux.
